The Subclass 500 Australian visa is a student visa and is suitable for those who wish to travel to Australia as a student for an educational course. It is a temporary visa which enables students to:

•Study at an educational institution in Australia.

•Stay and study in Australia for the duration of the student's course.

•Travel in and out of Australia whilst the visa is valid.

•Work in Australia for a maximum of 20 hours per week during school term and full time during the holidays.
